Signage and warning when CPS email addresses used on platform

As a CPS employee and CPS device owner;

• I often have trouble while using my CPS device to access the JACs digital platform and perform tasks, due to my devices firewall settings
• I want to be able to be alerted and warned of the shortcomings that CPS devices have when interacting with the JAC platform
• I want my CPS email address [example.name@cps.gov.uk] to trigger validation errors/warnings where appropriate, e.g. sign up, application email, sign in etc
• Equally as a candidate providing assessors' contact details within my application I would like to be warned when providing CPS email addresses as assessor contact.

Possible solutions:

• [x] Create a warning banner that appears when signing up as a candidate with a CPS email address (example.name@cps.gov.uk)
• [x] Create a warning banner that appears when signing in using a CPS email address
• [x] Create a warning banner that appears when entering a CPS email address for an assessor

Provisional wording for alert banner: Use of a CPS device causes multiple known issues with the JAC Digital Platform due to the device firewall settings - it is strongly recommended that applicants use a personal device to log on/submit an application.

This seems to cover the key features, @tomlovesgithub. Good to go. Checkbox 5 would save so much hassle, but not sure it will be an option!

@MattHowley This has not moved forward since I joined and would be good to see it implemented in the next sprint perhaps. Solutions 1-3 make sense, for 4 I don't feel it warrants an info page, suggest the guidance would be captured in the warning banner, i.e. we strongly recommend not using a CPS device to interact with the JAC Platform. I am assuming that solution 5 is not an option? Thoughts?

Hi @nickaddy Totally agree with your synopsis - solutions 1 to 3 are all sensible measures. 4 is unwarranted and 5 too extreme
