The shades remote does not work when served over HTTPS. Modern browsers don't allow HTTP requests that aren't encrypted when the website itself is served over HTTPS.
The shades remote functionality is replaced by an app installed on my phone that sends HTTP requests.
Reverting this change also removes the dependency on MUI
