What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I charge my phone to full battery
2. I install Mr.Nom on my Samsung Galaxy S and check how much each program
have used the phones battery (Android.os.* )
3. I play Mr.Nom for 10 minutes and then quit, I check once more how much each
program have used the phones battery (Android.os.* )
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When I first look (before first start) how much the Android.os.* have been
used, it's about 3-4 minutes. When I have played for 10 minutes it's about
13-14 minutes. If I put away the phone for 1 hour and then look again, the
Android.os.* has been running for 1 h 13 m and the battery is nearly empty and
the phone is warm on the back. I have closed the app Mr.Nom in all possible
ways (and tried different task-killer apps and restart of the phone) even when
i can't see a trace of Mr.nom the battery drains (Android.os.* is ticking). The
only solution is to unistall Mr.nom and the the phone works as normal again.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I use a Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 with Android 2.3.3
Please provide any additional information below.
This happens with both the original Mr.Nom and with my custom version. I think
it's the app that doesn't close correctly, bur hours after checking the code
and compare with other applications I have written before i can't find what's
wrong. Thanks for all help
