"Keep screen on" turns off when alarm sounds

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable "keep screen on"
2. Run a timer

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should keep screen on even when alarm is sounding, but actually turns it off 
just as the timer hits 0, so you have to turn the screen back on in order to 
turn the alarm off.

Please include the following info:
Phone model? Sony X10
Android Version? 2.3

I get exactly the same with an s3 running cyanogen 10
