Add Identity functionality not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Under "Manage People" select "People Management"
2.Select the "New person" tab 
3.Pick an individual then click "show details"
4.click the "identies" tab then click " "add identity"
5. Fill in the fileds marked " identity type, identity value" etc
6. Click "save" 

What is the expected output? 

The individual's id is supposed to saved
What do you see instead?
Nothing happens

Caused  by a memory leak in the application. This has been fixed and verified 
to work now
