performance issue #252

performance issueeproduce the problem?
  i'm using the app alot.. 
lately i've noticed  a significent lack of performance 
 when using the app.  registering and ending of tasks. 
takes alot of time.  also i am unable to export 
excel files if i choose a long time spam. 

i guess all of the above resaults from the big
database i am using

What is the expected output?

What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using (check the about screen for the
version or version number)?

That might indeed be an issue, although normally the app is designed to be fast 
on large datasets. However when you try to export, does the app crash, just 
hang or what happens?

Can you define all cases in which the app is slow for you?
For now you mentioned:
* Export
* Start/stop TR

It hangs for a very long time..and then crushes.
The time to change tasks is about 30 sec.
