Boomstick

Prerequisite: Giff

You utilise your ancestral affinity for firearms and learn to pack extra power into your attacks. Once per turn, when you hit a creature or object with an attack using a firearm or martial ranged weapon, you can choose to impose one of the following additional effects:

Blunder Blast. All creatures and objects within 5 feet of the target take force damage equal to your proficiency bonus.

Thunderous Boom. The target takes an extra 1d6 force/thunder damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed 10/15 feet from you in a straight line. The DC for this saving throw is equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + the ability modifier you used for the attack.

You can use this feat a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Boomstick ALT

Prerequisite: Giff

You utilise your ancestral martial affinities and learn to pack extra power into your attacks. When you use your Astral Spark trait on a ranged attack, you can impose one of the following additional effects:

Blunder Blast. All creatures and objects within 5 feet of the target take force damage equal to your proficiency bonus.

Thunderous Boom. The target takes an extra 1d6 force/thunder damage and is pushed back 10/15 feet away from you. If the target is a creature, it can make a Strength saving throw to only be pushed 5 feet. The DC for this saving throw is equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + the ability modifier you used for the attack.

Fire Arms

Prerequisite: Giff

Giff are known for their affinity for firearms, but sometimes the multiverse has a sense of humor. You gain an affinity for fire arms.

As a bonus action, you can set your arms on fire for 1 minute. The flames do not harm you or your equipment, though your sleeves may get singed. For the duration, your unarmed strikes deal 1d8 + your Strength modifier fire damage on a hit. If you aren't wielding any weapons or a shield when you make the attack roll, the d8 becomes a d10.

When you hit a creature or object with an unarmed strike while your arms are on fire, you can choose to channel all the remaing energy into an explosive blast. The target takes an additional 2d8 fire damage and is pushed 5 feet away from you. The flames on your arms then disperse.

maybe also/instead allow powerful thrown attacks (i.e. you become the firearm and launch bullets)
