cartouche failure in MS Word #10

Pona a! This is a great font. After enabling ligatures in Word, the font displays well, except that when entering a non-Toki Pona name, it doesn't wait for the space to be typed before replacing text with a glyph. See screenshot attached. font problem with cartouche Thanks for your attention.
