stuck at "CFG" start screen #160

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Use a 160 gig Maxtor hard drive, WBFS
2.Plug it into the usb slot nearest to the edge
3. Run Configurable Usb Loader via the Homebrew Channel

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I was expecting it to load up and show the games i have installed into my hard
drive. It instead stayed at a screen with "CFG" in the center with blue stuff
to both sides.

What version of the loader are you using?
v69

What is your System Menu version (e.g. 4.2u)?
4.2u

What is your media type (HDD, USB Flash, SD/SDHC)?
HDD

How is your media formatted (wbfs, fat32, ntfs)?
wbfs

Which cios are you using, which version, which base (222,249,...)?
(Please try both 249 and 222 with cfg-222.dol)
I actually am not very sure. I'm quite new to Wii hacking.

Does it work with other loaders?
Yes, it works well with Uloader, but I want to switch to CFG Usb Loader

Does it work with the latest or an older version?
It works with 5.1 the latest.

Please provide any additional information below.
I followed GAF's tutorial to install Configurable Usb Loader and the previous
steps, if that is any help.

I installed d2x v6 into slot 249, with base 37, but CFG loader still won't
work. Any ideas? thanks

Try base 57 then if that fails try base 58 as that has the most compatability
but can cause some small weird issues later on you will have to get through
like i did

base 56 is the most popular choice

base 56 didn't work also.... btw I end up having to hard reset to get out of
the CFG start screen. I will try the other bases now

thanks for the help guys! i got cfg loader to work with d2x v6 base 58, but
when i selected usb mass storage device for the wbfs partition, it said "auto
not found" or something like that. The i had to manually select the partition,
but it would not allow me to select any of the partitions for some reason. it
also showed more partitions tan i acually have on my hdd. I eventually exited
and started up uloader, to see if i did anything, and all my backups were still
intact. Any ideas?

those extra partitions are probably hidden partitions on your device

try setting device = usb instead of device = auto and partition = ntfsN where N
is the number from 1 upwards of the ntfs partition incrementally
