Wii Freeze while loading savegame #32

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Game: Final Fantasy Crystal Bearers PAL
Loader: 54b
Wii: 4.2e
cIOS: 222-mload rev 4 (for fat hdd), 249 rev 17 (in loader config)

In config wiird = 2, orcania = 1 (seems not to be the problem)
In game options orcania and playlog off...all other options default values.

Game starts...and when loading a savegame the wii will freeze.

By using the cfg-loader 53 loading the same savegame will work fine.

i guess it just needs to use a proper hooktype, if it's supposed to work with
this game
at all? or if you don't need to use the gecko just disable wiird and ocarina.
not sure
what you're trying to do...

i need a little bit of money in the game...therefore i used the gecko the first
time. on the next day i want to play the saved game and then it freezed.
orcania was
set to off in the game options screen. only in the config.txt the wiird was set
to 2
and orcania to 1.

i will try by disableding the wiird and orcania in the config´and test it
again.

by the way. can you put the wiird option to the global cfg options else
everybody
has to change the config by hand everytime the debugger has probs with some
games.

For the debugger to work you need it connected to a PC anyway right?
So if it is connected to the PC I would suggest using:
wiiload cfg54.dol wiird=1
while leaving wiird unset in config.txt
