Configuarable USB Loader no longer working after updating to 57b7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Not sure what version I had previously, so unsure
2. Also had some games not appear on list. When connected to PC the missin 
games appeared on the HDD but with odd character like names

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the loader are you using?

Not sure what it was previously but clicked on update to 57b7 and then it 
stopped working

What is your System Menu version (e.g. 4.2u)?

4.0e

What is your media type (HDD, USB Flash, SD/SDHC)?

HDD for games

How is your media formatted (wbfs, fat32, ntfs)?

Games are in wbfs

Which cios are you using and which version (222, 249v??)?

Not sure. How do I tell? I can't access USB loader to check

Please provide any additional information below.

Turned on Wii a few weeks after backing up a few games. I had previously played 
these so they were definitely working previously.
I thought maybe I needed to update the USB Loader software and now the Loader 
isn't working at all
