It is possible, but it might break NTFS support.

@digley: sorry if I don't understand, but... why?
And, by the way, isn't possible to launch wiiware/vc games from a FAT32
partition? (with the ISOs of "normal" wii games on NTFS of course, hehe)

I'd like to vote for being able to load WiiWare WADs from SD/USB too. I have a
NTFS hard drive, and ideally I'd like to be able to put the WADs on there
alongside the disc ISOs, but it would be equally useful if it could even load
them from the FAT SD card.
Having all of the disc ISOs and WAD games appear alongside each other in
Cfg-Loader would make the software ideal, and I'd never have to use the home
menu screen again.

The home menu will be always useful for copying savegames from/to sd (I'm lucky
and I'm still on 3.2E with priiloader I can copy from/to SD ALL savegames, also
"Monster Hunter Tri" and others "not moveable" with 4.0 or higher, although
with priiloader installed), for launching other channels (also if with
priiloader it's easy) and for manage wii codes and friend messages. :)
But a Cfg USB Loader with wad/wiiware/vc support, possibly NOT installing it to
real NAND and using an emulated NAND, would be really great.

Well I can only say that there's a reason why uLoader doesnt support NTFS but
does support loading VC/WiiWare from SD/HDD(FAT32).
Hermes stated some time ago, that you cant have VC/WiiWare support and NTFS
support at the same time. It's something similar with having wiird support on
NeoGamma with backups.

But I don't want NTFS support and VC/WiiWare support AT THE SAME TIME. If it's
possible also to load one or another based on the user's wish it's ok for me.
By the way, I was clearly excluding VC/WiiWare support ON NTFS filesystem, I've
mentioned SD or (better) a FAT32 partition on USB.
I think it's possible to switch from/to iso (on ntfs)/vc-wiiware (on fat32)
simply reloading the cIOS and switching partition on-the-fly, but if isn't
possible, it's ok also a menu on startup of loader (or a choice before
rebooting the loader, like the update).

what about to launch a new, unique, special, very-wanted-and-desired, software
to launch the wads without installing it in the wii?

This is a "most wanted" option! I really don't like to install WiiWares from
Wadmanager :-( BTW, thanks for all CFG Usb Loader team!

Why not have two different builds - one for NTFS, one for WiiWare
compatibility? People can mix and match to their needs!

Using the emulated NAND would be possible not only launch Wiiware/VC games, but
also launching GC games from USB via DiosMios. If this can be implemented in
CfgUSBLoader, it will be a VERY GREAT feature!

not planned.

Not planned now, or not planned ever? I think it's a pretty killer feature.
Failing that, is it possible to branch the project into a CFG for loading
WiiWare/WADs? Two channels would solve the issue of not being able to manage
both at the same time.
