Hide Notch made my menubar light and doesn't go to dark mode again

Describe the bug After clicking Hide Notch button the menubar turned light and despite changing OS to dark mode the menu bar stays light.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Have menu bar dark
2. Click on 'hide notch'

Expected behavior Menu bar color not to change or at least it being restoreable to dark.
