I can't find the right executable to run the program #500

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
it will flash a command prompt window and then close.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 3.00 on windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.
I've read the instructions but can't find downloads for half the files it says 
I need or anything telling me the order of the downloads (some seem to be 
redundant)

tesseract is command line program. just open windows command line and type 
"tesseract".
