Starting with the essentials:

[ ] Displays on initial game launch
[ ] Includes static text and/or image
[ ] Has a button for switching from the menu scene to an in-game environment-based scene. (Dynamic choosing/loading of scene files will be added later.)

Future tasks will include rebuilding the function submenus (save, load, etc) and designing the UI.
