What version are you seeing the problem on?

1.16.5

Describe the issue

1. Silver keys and locks: Break when used.
2. Netherite keys and locks: Make the secured block unbreakable.
3. Bone keys and locks: A worse version of the silver ones, aside from unlocking the secured block it also breaks it. Great for being used with Lock Buttons, but be careful to not use it on any secure-able block that you think it's valuable. Break when used too.
4. Silver Wax: It's used to paint bone keys so they look identical to silver keys (only if you are a very mischievous troll) or be used to craft special doors and trapdoors that come unopenable until you place a lock in them. These are called "Waxed Doors" and they come with a silvery look. They are meant to be used for mapmaking and decoration and there are "Waxed Crates" which work the same as the doors and trapdoors but for containers.
5. Keyrings: They can hold a total of 24 keys, so it is more accessible to hold keys without hesitating to deliberately search for each key.
6. Stone Lockpicks: They are a craftable version of lockpicks, however, the lockpicking minigame is way harder and they break instantly after failing the minigame. They need iron and stone to make.
7. Dye-able keys: You can dye keys to organize them better. This is only a cosmetic change.
8. Jail doors: If your friend caused too much chaos using the bone keyware then you should lock them inside a jail door. These connect to iron bars and they are a cosmetic version of the waxed door.
