I'm a newbie. Please help.

Hello, I managed to install the OpenEncodeVFW using the videos on YouTube for instructions. Installing TestAMFVFW is kind of complicated for newbie me. Can someone give me a thorough explanation about how to install it? Thanks in advance.

Get the runtimes (x86, x64)
Get the encoder
Unpack it to somewhere from where you won't delete it (by accident, the Runtimes folder is important)
Right click on install.bat and select Run as administrator

I have downloaded the x64 and x86 runtimes. I extracted the archive to C:\TestAMFVFW - a place I wouldn't lose it. Sherlock.exe says that the encoder exists. The DLL file exists both in system 32 and sysWOW64. It doesn't show up in Dxtory. I'm using CCC 15.9 beta. Should I downgrade to 15.7? EDIT: I downgraded to 15.7.1 and it still doesn't show up in Dxtory. I tried to check the registry values using the instructions you gave to the other person in another issue. Everything seems fine. I am running windows 10 64 bit.
