The only two methods that keep Wi-Fi hotspot working are either keep phone on
charge or make sure the screen never sleeps. We all know the Wi-Fi sleep
policy doesn’t work so I have found a great solution for this problem and it
does work. WEE PEE!!! Download a simple app from the android market called
‘Wake Lock Power Manager’ It seems to be the only working solution in the
world. Here is the link -

I have the same problem. I've downloaded the "Wake Lock Power Manager", and
installed it. I configured it to start up at boot. Which setting do you select?
By default it is 0 or no lock. Is that correct? If I select Full, then Tether
doesn't work.
