Still not with you... do you mean the bar on the right of Metalscroll in that
image?

yes exactly, i just want to switch it off. I can set the width in the option
menü, which do the trick. But switch off bar is more readable. I just do this,
which hide the hightlight window of Metascroll.
But now i have the problem, how to reach the option menu again ? Is there any
menu entry for Metascroll in Visual Studio 2008. Can`t find one.

Ah, ok, you want to turn off Metalscroll entirely. You can unload it in Visual
Studio's add-in manager... do you need to frequently switch it on and off?
If you make it 0 width, you can't reach the options dialog again, you have to
manually set HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Griffin Software\MetalScroll\BarWidth
to something greater than 0.

no i dont want to switch it completly off. But i only need the functionality of
highlighting words of the addin in code window, withouth the preview window,
which takes space of my screen. I dont need the preview too often. So i need an
easy way to switch it on and off.
Edit it back to registry, to get width > 0 again is very very tricky :)
An easier way (e.g. menu) what help a lot.

The bar can be switched off in build 1.0.9 and the minimum width is set to 8
pixels.
