Probably a good idea unless we can find a way to fix the gun drop without extending the timer to the point where its punishing survivors.
We would have to make a new plugin that does whatever sirs part does, I think it stop bunts from slowing down chargers, but I honestly can't remember.
This is still happening? Thought it was fixed in 4.4.1.
There are still outdated servers out there.

@jbzdarkid As difficult as it might be to get cooperation on this, it might be useful to ask people to tell you which server they were playing on when it happened, and when. That could help isolate problems to specific servers where an update got fucked up.

We should remove this plugin until this is fixed. Apparently it has caused some teams to possibly win/lose maps in the RBT tourney...
It didn't cause anyone to win or lose anything. Every time I've seen it happen is when the team was already dead. It does need to be removed, but those ppl are just looking for something to blame don't sweat it

Let's just agree that certain things in Promod's code approvement department require urgent heavy reforms. I predict 4.5 to become by far the buggiest release, with a plethora of small and annoying and perhaps a couple major, maybe even game-breaking issues. Mark my words.

I am very happy to point towards myself, I'm extremely experienced in comparison to everyone else here. I'm not really sure how to test the gun drop bug is fixed because it never happens while I've been testing.
I'm going to have a look at this again, this weekend see if I can find another way to fix it, otherwise it should be removed (with the m2 slowdown taken out as its own plugin).
Potentially fixed, could not replicate with new method of swapping weapons new method also has no timers so is faster, less punishing on survivors

I agree, Promod needs to be beta tested more before release. Perhaps we should delay it a few more days and give it a few test runs first. If anyone needs help beta testing you can message me.
Do we know if the fix is working? If it is I would like to include it this update, if not we will have to remove the plugin for now.
Guns still drop but this time it creates an extra gun, survivors don't drop their gun. possibly caused by mutli punch

Yes, fixed by removing the plugin, so survivors can still punish tank while cornered with melee
Solution: Remove the melee_shenanigans. If we're not planning to already, that is.
