quad caps?

ppl keep bringing it up to me after playing reflux. so heres my list of pros and cons of adding them to pro mod.

pros:

• more variety
• higher skill cap
• "more fun"
• visor wont steal our playerbase by adding them to redtown (kind of joking)

cons:

• so far from vanilla can we even call it "the l4d2 comp config" anymore? whats the difference between us and dlr at that point?
• teams will spend more time trying to sack hits instead of actually attacking (which is something we have been trying to avoid. see: despawn health, chokepoint nerfs, prop additions)
• throws off the balance of so many chokes (dk3 coaster, hard rain 2 staircase, etc)

figured id poll u guys on the matter regardless of my opinions on the matter.

I'm not a huge fan of it for the reasons you mentioned. It will also make saccing for correct spawns much harder because the traditional rules will have been modified.

i should also clarify i put "more fun" in quotes because even though i think it can be more fun, thats an opinion and not everyone will share that

I don't care enough to argue for it. I think the quads are "fun", but you make good points too.

I think that would actually put people off, I would definitely not look at it as "Promod" anymore.
