I am not sure this container is the correct place to put sane. I actually want sane myself both for home and business use but I will likely be putting it in a separate container from cups. Is there any reason you know of that the two should be in the same container?

I too would suggest having a different container with access to the same USB devices for SANE support since cups doesn't work with SANE. That way one will be kept a print server, the other scanner server.
