CameraControl no longer displays preview #62

The WebCameraControl no longer displays a preview of what users are looking at with the web camera. The users are still able to capture an image with no issues, but the preview will not display. The device we are using is the camera that comes with a Panasonic FZ-G1 Windows 10 v 1809 tablet. I've tested it on a Windows 10 1703 tablet by the same manufacturer and it is working correctly.

I’m not 100% sure what you are asking: are you asking if it is running on a 64 bit system or has been built to prefer a 64 bit OS?

Sorry, I’m working on a new version of the control and believe your issue is fixed in that new version. For now I’ve got only x64 WPF version of the new control and would like you to test it.

So I have the control embedded in a user control that is built for AnyCPU as the target. [cid:image001.jpg@01D59610.A8A02B90]

But all the applications I’m using it in at the moment are built to prefer 64 bit. My phone number is below if you want to call and discuss.

Just run the app, then press 'Add Local Stream' button at the top and select your device in dropdown.

I unzipped it to a folder. Got 5 files. I ran .exe.

I hit “Play” in local and remote but was told:

Could not load file or assembly “StreamPlayer.dll” or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found.

Should it work with no other support files?

I could play the video using VLC.

One of the files you've downloaded is StreamPlayer.dll, can you go to its file properties and press Unblock button?

I doubt you are asking me, but I get the error:

Again, I am assuming the demo is self-contained with no reliance on anything else. I am using Windows 10, 64 bit. Latest updates.

I didn’t find an “unlock” button. But full permissions to run the file are allowed by all listed.

I have the extracted files in a folder called “beta”.

The device has .NET 4.7.2 installed on it.

I’ve tried it on two different computers, one running Win 10 1703 and the other 1809, both with .NET 4.7.2. Got the same result.

I’m using windows 10, 64 bit. With latest updates to version 1909 on three computers. The video plays perfectly in the demo.

Hello, im experiencing the same issue. In some Win10 20H2 the camera works great but in others it only display one time per installation.
