See what are the pros and cons of using them instead of Crux.

We definitely wouldn't want to replace Crux with pouchdb/couchdb. They might work well downstream of Crux. However, with the recent rewrite, the Crux subscription code is clean enough that I don't feel a huge need to investigate other db subscription solutions. If we run into scaling issues then maybe this is worth exploring more.
