Terribly slow and crash #157

Today, I tried using git-control with my project. The git-control panel opens and then, it freezes. Atom crashed soon after.

Found the problem. node_modules was not in .git_ignore, but, there is still seems to be a problem here. If the "git stack" is very large, git-control breaks.
