The JADE tree has no license or (explicit) copyright. If that (i.e. "All rights reserved") is your intention, then fair enough.
If however you wanted to distribute JADE under an open source license, an explicit license declaration should be mentioned at least in README, or better as a comment header in all source files.
I second this - I would love to use JADE in my work, and potentially create an interface and/or incorporate certain parts in my own open source packages. Adding a license would make this much easier!
