AS2 server crash when leaving it #265

Hi guys.

So my AS2 server closed when I leaved it, kicking everyone still in.

When I tried to restart it, it crashed immediately with the same error.

Do you know what the problem is ?

Open the world in MCEdit and see if you can find any black chunks, which will likely be corrupted. Also remove any mods you added and try to reload the world.

Thanks for the answer, but there was no black chunk in MCEdit. Also I didn't add any mod to AS2.

I tried to delete the last new blocks I added to the world but same problem.

Do you have any idea ?

Hum, alright. So first off, this is a full on server rather than a LAN server right? Also, what kind of computer are you running the server processes on and is it the same one you're logged in on?

Yes this is a server on my personal computer, I'm playing on it in the same time. I got an intel core i5-4460, 8gb of ram and never had any problem to run this server until right now (since 5 months or so).

Hum, well props for getting it to run the server itself and your POV at the same time. Also you're welcome. Is this crash log from your personal POV, or the server itself, and could you post the log of whichever it isn't?

The crash is from the server side and the log from it is in the first post.

Mk. Alright, do you know of anything being chunkloaded? Also please try to load the world in single player if it isn't too much trouble.

No i didn't chunkload anything. But I tried to load a backup and the problem happened again just after the same action than last time. I can't load it in singleplayer either.

edit: I've tried to reload a backup and so far no issues. The problem appeard just after I placed a blood cleanser from sanguimancy in the world. Maybe an issue with this block ?

Quite possibly. If you can try deleting the block in the non-backup world (using MCEdit likely) and then attempt to load it that should confirm.
