Program doesn't open on desktop #238

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download the zip file
2. Extract the .exe file
3. Saved it to my desktop

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It tries to open and I see the black screen with the program notes, but nothing 
happens.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.0.0.0

Please provide any additional information below.

Forgot to mention I am using Windows XP

Could you copy & paste the log (the program notes) here, or take a screenshot 
and attach it here?
