UART2TX/RX are on the BeagleBoard already and are available on the expansion
connector.
The expansion connector is full so there is no room for adding TWL4030 I/O to
the
board. In addition, adding any additional I/O will result in more layers being
added
to the board and the cost of the board will increase siginificantly. As adding
feedthrus would result in the layers being added, that is not a viable soultion
for
us at this time. We spent a lot of time in the begining taking things off to
get the
cost down. While I understand that these changes may seem simple, where does it
take
us? 25 simple changes ends up to one BIG change. This is not a ptah we can
afford to
go down on Beagle.
I have no plans to make these changes.
