boot up and system is very slow

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use a Gumstix Overo board
2. Install android
3. boot the system

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I am expecting it to be more responsive.  The system is very very sluggish.  I 
issue a command via the mouse and it takes a minute or more for android to 
respond.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Have the same problem with beagleboard XM and gingerbread (TI devkit 2.1)

I also have the same issue. I found in my case it is because of he SD card i 
used. Please verify that you have used the sd card recommended by Texas. Now i 
have very good performance in beagleboard xm.
