Hi the : trigger doesn't bring up the box to pick the icons. Also while the command pallet does work, all it does is create a completed check box. Can u please help? Thanks! Jeff Kepnes.

If you are using the Things or Minimal theme, no additional steps are required. However, for other themes, you will need to download a CSS snippet. Unfortunately, Obsidian does not provide a way to add CSS snippets in the mobile version, so you will need to use a workaround.

  1. Access iCloud and locate your working environment.
  2. Add the CSS snippet to the .obsidian/snippets folder.
  3. Return to the mobile app and go to Settings → Appearance → CSS Snippets to enable the added CSS snippet.

While this process does not take much time, it can be a bit tedious. Therefore, it is recommended to use the Things or Minimal theme and set the theme in the plugin settings.

Did you perhaps change to the Minimal theme in the plugin settings? The Minimal theme is not the default setting. Setting → Community Plugins → Checkbox styling helper → Select Theme → Select Minimal

Hmm... That's strange. It works fine on my iOS. I'm using an iPhone 13 with iOS 17.5.1.
