Instructions sort of unclear. #1

I screwed up because I couldn't understand the instructions, so I just flashed the latest TWRP with TWRP from the App Store, that was not meant for my device. I thought why not, any TWRP should work. So I now have a white screen as my Recovery I believe. I cannot find any way to bring it out of it's comatosed state. I have tried CP, DD, QPST, and many other methods of trying to flash my original recovery. Do you know of a method I can use in ADB terminal to flash the original recovery back to my phone. I am trying flash_image as we speak. I will let you know how it goes.

Ok, so trying to mount system using SU>mount. SU returns a $ instead of a #, meaning I do not have root. But the phone is rooted, I rooted it before flashing the wrong recovery. Some reason I cannot get root privilege on this phone. Does someone know more about the filesystem of this phone. I am able to get a listing of the directories and I have seen which MMCBLK I believe it is 0p18 that is recovery. So I tried a DD command on to this Memory block as well. But still without root, I cannot use this command on a system partition. They sure did lock down this phone. Wonder why???
