sound engine gets frozen #4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. everytime i press the letter q
2. no matter is the .deb or compiled from source 
3. no matter is ran as root or as user

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

a drone note is expected but one gets silence instead.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

latest from both source or .deb

hopefully this is fixed in 1.0.2 available as .tar.gz from downloads now.
