Preferences #5

The current format in which we are specifying the preferences that the TAs fill
in the form are - Strongly Recommended, Maybe, No.

The Issues with 'No' as a preference option are -
1. There might multiple subjects which the TA might not want to opt for
2. Instructors will not be interested in knowing which TA doesn't want to opt
for his/her course.

So do we change the Preference Options?

I think we should not include no in the option as the subjects which a TA does
not want to take is of no use for anyone. Moreover it will consume a lot of
space in back-end also.
We should talk to Astrid mam and Vikram sir and take their view points asap
regarding this issue.

Exactly. Sir himself mentioned that he would not want to see which students
does not wish to take his course for TA job. We should talk to Sureka sir as
well . We'll try to make him understand our point.

95% of the teaching assistants said that they would want to give preferences in
the order - First, Second, Third. As they would be the end users of our
application, we'll go with it.
We would take their preferences in the form - First Preference, Second
Preference and Third Preference.
