Hello,

This proposed change is mandatory on Linux, so users can have access to the device. Thanks to that, they can modify the device input mappings.

This PR has been backported in Nix/NixOS for version 0.9.2 at https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/260492

Closing the PR, I was doing something wrong on NixOS.

I planning a release with the current development state (maybe plus a few feature requests I like) 0.10.0 - rought guess within a month
