I know it's a basic issue, but i want to start from somewhere, i am new to the platform and want to contribute. If needed please assign this issue to me under gssoc.

It helps prevent harassment and discrimination, making the community welcoming and safe for everyone. By outlining consequences for unacceptable behavior, it maintains a positive and collaborative atmosphere, which is crucial for the project's success and sustainability.
