Fixes #47 #48

As this was executed inside try it never raised an exception is too broad

Although there are several issues with the PR:

  1. You created your PR from master branch which is wrong.
  2. "Fixes #47" doesn't seem like a proper title. The phrase Fixes #XYZ should be in description
  3. Do not close the issue when you submit a PR. Issues gets closed on ly after the PR gets merged.
