Hi,
I find incredible that jajuk don't read these files, when other player does!
version i got : 1.7.1
albums not readable with jajuk : Pinnock.-.[Pachelbel.Canon.&.Gigue.Etc].(FLAC) you can find it with emule to try
or tell me i send you one song to try
What happen ? When i play song of this album the player don't accept it and delete it from the playlist file. Same with the whole album, songs are deleted (from playlist not from my hard drive) one by one.
so ???
So i find why..
the problem cames from the name of the folder containing specials chars
would be cool that the player don't mind special chars to read music

jajuk start to make me crazy now it don't read ape files like 01 - Flute concerto No. 1 in G major, KV 313, I Allegro maestro.ape and all other song of this folder. I try to rename it Flute concerto.ape but nothing, i will think that jajuk sucks for plenty things when other players rocks like 1by1 or media jukebox

With the version 1.7.2 dev, all seems to work good now. Here's an example: Various Artists - (Mp3)
In windows explorer the folder name is: Various Artists - (Mp3) [the characters looks like chinese but in windows explorer it look like [be utf8 encodage problem.
Anyway thanks for the link of this dev version.
There is one more problem i notice and that i can't explain coze it works with other player : jajuk don't read an album of ape files. It don't work better with this last dev version. I would like so much that jajuk could read all files without any pb.
Please download this example ape file to test why jajuk can't read it. Here is the link to dl the file: http ://dl.free.fr/atWxshDmh (i put a space after http, else i got pb to post this message) [of the zip: 39180 KB in windows [[BR]([BR]]
Size)] Name of the zip: example_of_ape_pb_mozart_first_song.zip [[BR]] name of the file in the zip: 01 - Flute concerto No. 1 in G major, KV 313, I Allegro maestro.ape
you can rename it as you want, it works with other player, but is not played with jajuk ??
Commented by anonymous on 2 Apr 2009 07:40 UTC Actually, the ape you provide makes mplayer crash ! (Jajuk uses mplayer to play music). This is very weird and your file may be corrupted. Did you managed to play it ? if so, using which player ?
We'll continue to investigate from the mplayer's side.
Commented by bflorat on 5 Apr 2009 20:48 UTC We upgraded mplayer release and your ape can be played. The fix will be embedded into upcoming jajuk 1.7.2.
