Reported by Xsusakamei on 9 Aug 2013 12:32 UTC Hello Jajuk Team,

i tried Jajuk and it works fine with a few songs. All features are fine, Lyrics, Cover - all great functions ;-) And i do not must install it - super! And no crash - never!

But, if i let Jajuk scan my complete Disks (~200GB) it needs an hour to end(ok, it was an Net-Drive, but on an iSCSI Drive it needs also about 30 Minutes). But this is not the Problem. After this, it is toooo slow to work with (the Database is on an SSD) :-(

If i read in the FAQ i can optimize several settings to make Jajuk faster - but sorry, without an gui and no good instructions to do this, i do not have time for experiments ... !

In the options i can set the path for the Database which is create by Jajuk. But at the first start and changing this it will not work correct. Jajuk creates on c: an .jajuk folder and in the user folder. Why i can't set the Path for Backups? Backups on the same drive and only one version is not a very good thing ... . Alwas a good idea was to load and save the database to reduce the size of data which must Jajuk manage.

If i show at the xml files you use long strings(id) for all (Artist, author, album_Artist a.s.o.). This must be managed by Jajuk. I think it is a little bit overdressed ^^ ... .

You have programmed all in Java, but is this the correct choice for perfomance ^^? Yes, i know, it ist good for several systems ... .

I have an i7-3930 with SSD and 32GB RAM. I think it is enough for this and Jajuk brings all my cores(6/12) to a high load ... .

Do you have a look at the program "Tagscanner"? It scans my drives in seconds(without direct LAN-Drives)! And it worked well, but has not all the functions like Jajuk!

So i can't work with Jajuk. But let me know if you fixed the Problems ... .

Thank you for your time.

Greetings fro germany J. Schol
