"Any MP3 player software I have used allow the user to rate their own songs on a scale of 1 to 5. My interpretation is: 1 not good, but keep for sentimental reasons 2 okay 3 good 4 very good 5 EXCELLENT (less than 2% of my collection)"

Comment from duplicate issue #2014: Unfortunately the ratings are just possible up to 4 stars, better would be 5 stars. Then it's a bit complicated to choose the rate from the smilie. It would be very faster, just to click on the amount of stars you want to give.
