Jakarta Batch + CDI integration #176

Use this as a placeholder to simplify the Batch 2.1 tracking.

We could think of this as an "epic" , and maybe even look into using ZenHub epics perhaps.

Don't think we need another grouping besides the milestone so closing this issue rather than launching into "epics", etc.
