@scottkurz I used this commit as an example. after reading the last EE Platform's MoM.

I'm pretty sure there are some blind spots as I'm quite new in this area, so I'm looking forward to your input on how to proceed.

For example:

is the xsd versioning (2.0) used by this PR right?
would we still need the corresponsinf .adoc files once we merge this?
other input I'm missing

I would say let's leave the XSD in the spec for now. If you know a good way to have the adoc "include" it (in both HTML, PDF formats) then we could delete the batch_xml_xsd.adoc , job_specification_language_xml.adoc files.

Otherwise we could just leave them and copy/paste when we make an update (which won't be too frequently), along with the PR to: https://github.com/jakartaee/jakarta.ee
