to test this hypothesis i have added it to the allow cookies in chrome, i'll update the post if i can confirm

If you use Muledump Local, browsers often view its use of localStorage as being 3rd party and thus requires you enable 3rd party cookies. Kind of an odd requirement.
In your case, deleting of cookies might also be deleting local storage data too. This would definitely erase Muledump.

this seems to be the case, any possiblity to have like a scheduled or incremental backup option?
i use chrome and firefox. i use ad blockers(ublock origin), https everywhere and cookies get removed when i close my browser, i think because the cookies get removed all my account information is lost everytime.
