When I drag an icon, as soon as my mouse moves over the taskbar, all icons to the right shift to the right. This is because both the dragged icon, its original location and the drag target take up space. The drag target keeps taking up space even if the mouse leaves the taskbar.
This behavior causes confusion when I'm attempting to drag an icon into an existing space between icons, that jumps away from its position as soon as I start dragging.
