Don't you miss it? I do. I found out that you can open new instance by clicking middle button (2). When middle button is a scroll wheel it is uncomfortable to click it.

I already code the change. What do you think about it?

I'm having issues with this it's not working on cinnamon 2.2

devtop commented 10 years ago

Ooh, I did not test it on cinnamon 2.2. Is there any output in looking-glass (alt-F2, lg, )? When does the error occure? When the applet is loaded (cinnamon start) or when you click on a application icon?

I try to figure the problem right after getting up a cinnamon 2.2

I tried out the applet. On Cinnamon 2.2.13, Linux Mint 17 Live CD, 64bit, it is working fine. Can anybody confirm the behavior, please?

@jake-phy could you post more details of the issue please? Without further information I am not able to figure it out.

Well it just wasn't working for me nothing happened. Maybe you should try implementing this using cinnamon’s implementation of keybindings. https://github.com/linuxmint/Cinnamon/wiki/Applet,-Desklet-and-Extension-Settings-Reference
