Add WYSIWYG Editor for Creating, Updating, and Deleting Posts in the CMS

Summary: We can enhance the CMS we are creating by integrating the WYSIWYG Editor, allowing the admin to create, update and delete posts with an easy-to-understand interface and custom styling.

Requirements:

• Integration of the WYSIWYG Editor: Install the ACF plugin and create a new field, selecting 'WYSIWYG Editor' option.
• Align the field to be shown when the correct page type has been selected to avoid confusion between editing details on different pages.
• We can decide to provide a few options such as text-formatting, adding images and other media content. But, we can also choose to remove certain availability to restrict adding embedded videos which can take up too much space for loading a page. Perhaps instead, converting this to a shortened link that can be opened externally away from the web page.
• I'm certain we should also provide documentation as a user guide to be able to correctly use the editor as this is in good practice.

yeah we do, I was wondering how we correctly use that?

(off the top of my head) you can head over to the acf site, get a downloadable zip of the acf pro plugin and add in the WordPress plugin area in wp-admin Or you can install via composer
