Audio player #10

New request. Can we add audio files and an embedded player as a post type for The Latest. We don't have any specs on audio file extensions we want to support so that can be set based on whatever plugins you can build around.

This wasn't part of the original plan, but I understand things change. I can look into it. Would SoundCloud work for the audio clips? They make it pretty easy to embed into another site.

I think we are fine with whatever you want to recommend and is easy for our content creators to add.

Have them look at SoundCloud and we'll see if that could work.

can you drop a demo soundcloud link in to a post just so they can visualize it. Having trouble explaining it via email.

The response I got was "blech if we can find something more native looking let's try." I think they don't like the look of the player and levels so if there is something that is just play and time bar they might prefer that. This is probably tier 2 in terms of priority so don't spend a lot of time on this at the expense of some of the other items. I'm guessing something like this will make them happy: [image: Inline image 1]
