[x] Describe what the package is (in the current dev. status) and will be about.
[x] Add section on parallelization (mention that many parts of the package can easily be parallized via future
[x] Add section on performance assessment. Introduce some notation here.
[x] Add section on suggested packages.
[ ] Later: add section on package options (e.g. ecr3vis.debug to activate debugging messages)
