David and i have played around with the segmentation program posted on the class weblog. We have changed the bins and peaks around on a test image and need help interpreting some of our findings.

So let's think about what could be different about a blog post and a report. I'd like to update our colleagues with a report, something more formal than a blog post and less formal than a research paper.

I think what you have here is more a blog post as it uses first and second person. Let's structure the blog post as a mini-research paper. Tell them the new knowledge, information, and workflow designed to address you hypothesis and goals. It is less about the work YOU did and more about communicating new evidence within the data.

The objective as I see it is that you have two consistent ways to segment the final microstructure image, which can inform the prior segmentations.

Keep the post you have and take content from that and the other posts to make a report.

None of this http://jallen30gt.github.io/MIC-Tungsten-Nanowires/2014/10/17/Image-Segmentation.html#what-we-need-to-do-next, I want you to be confident and assertive about the work you have done to date. Sell your work, its good!

Lightbox is used to browse images. When you create a link in markdown [](), the value in the brackets is the title of the image when browsing. Change [Alt Text] to the title instead.

I am working on a separate gist for a more formal report. The blog post was just to get some thoughts down while I still remembered what I did. This report should happen sometime this week.

man, about tomorrow's presentation. So far we have what I did to talk about and the image segmentation stuff that you did to talk about, do you have something more in mind right now?

Quick with the draw....much obliged.

Segmentation has been conducted on 0%, 50% and 100% completion images
