Scope of the standard, and design consequences #21

When starting this, I took for granted that the standards would be kept invisible to the user in most cases, it would be used in the background to transform metadata written with different tools from one format into another.

In my view, there would be no need for required fields, or design to "decrease of mental loads for users."

I open here the discussion, as my views were certainly too narrow. I think this should be discussed live, but open the issue to be sure not to forget :)

the idea is to first worry about the container, how we will fill the container comes later. but we need to keep the pandoc needs in mind.
